A young man living in a rented house near Bada Bagicha of Mirzapur police station area died under suspicious circumstances on Tuesday. The police reached on the information of the landlord and got involved in the investigation. On the spot, the Crime Branch team in-charge of CO City Police Station got involved in the investigation on the spot. Police has also received a suicide note.
Sandeep Kumar Gupta (23), son of Gopal Das Gupta, a resident of maternal uncle-nephew’s pond of Naini police station area of Prayagraj district, was living in a rented house near the big garden of Vindhyachal police station area for the last two months. He used to sell Fulki.

On Tuesday morning, the woman who came to give milk made a sound but when no sound came, she returned. People around saw from their terrace that a person had fallen on the ladder. When the landlord reached and saw Sandeep lying dead on the stairs. Police was informed, the police reached the spot and took the body of the deceased.
The bed of the deceased Sandeep was fixed on the terrace. It was hanging by a dupatta on an iron rod near the stairs below. The body of the deceased was lying on the side of the stomach on the ladder. There was a mark on the neck. There is a possibility of hanging on the noose, but the body was found on the ground and the noose was found hanging above. Police found a suicide note.
